Job Description:
- Conduct risk assessment and develop preventative measures.
- Regular inspection of the workplace for unsafe conditions, and unsafe acts and make plans for corrective actions.
- Stop any unsafe acts or activities that may seem dangerous or unsafe.
- Record and investigate incidents to determine root causes and assist management with workmen’s compensation claims.
- Coordinate and assist with third-party inspections, certifications, and training.
- Prepare updated HSE reports weekly and monthly for management submissions.
- Provide regular training on staff and workers for safe practices.
- Establish and develop safety standards and policies to ensure they are followed by all workers.
- Maintain HSE records for client audits and local regulatory inspections.
- Inspection of equipment and processes to ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations and standards.
- Lead and conduct emergency drills. (fire drills, chemical spill drills)
- Collaborate with all departments to promote a safety culture.
- Manage waste disposal, energy-saving initiatives, and environmental compliance in the company.
- Induct new workers and visitors coming to the site.
- To comply and act as liaison with all local government bodies and authorities during inspections. ( DCD, DM, Dubai Police)
- Conduct regular toolbox meetings to inform workers of hazards and best safety practices.
- Inspect, assist, and prepare PTW during the execution of critical and non-routine works. (Lifting, confined spaces, work at heights, NDT, etc.)
- Able to produce reports within the specified time as required by the internal and external Auditors.
- Maintaining first aid supplies throughout the factory.
- Inspection of labor camp and maintain updated room occupants.
- Diligently performs other related tasks and reasonable work at the request of management.
